STATION
Fast&GO replacement stations allow, compared to conventional charging stations, to rapidly restore the complete autonomy of electric vehicles. The system adopted is called "Battery Swap" and it’s based on replacing the exhausted battery pack. With this system, the battery packs are loaded into the station and independently of the electric vehicles from which they were taken.
While a conventional charging station would take from 2 to 8 hours to fully recharge a battery pack, the Fast&Go station has the ability to replace the battery pack in about 2 minutes. This allows the user greater acceptance of the electric vehicle which becomes a viable alternative to conventional polluting vehicles.
The station is fully automated and controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller, which allows the operator to interact with the station automation via a color touch-screen. The basic version of the Fast&Go station has a storage capacity of 12 battery packs. Other solutions can be agreed with the client. The station is equipped with powerful 6 kW chargers, which recharge the battery packs in the station in about 2 hours. The overall dimensions of the station plant, where it also foresaw an office module, is approximately 60 square meters.
